A.P.C. to Open Its Very Own Café in Paris

Following a surge of fashion brands such as Aimé Leon Dore, Fendi and Vivienne Westwood opening cafés around the world, French label A.P.C. is set to open its very own spot in Paris from November 20 to January 31, 2020. Café A.P.C., located at the Galerie Joyce, will serve a variety of drinks made from its special moka bean. Visitors and locals alike will also be able to shop a selection of branded objects including a tote bag, T-shirt and thermos.
“There won’t be a choice,” said founder Jean Touitou of the café’s decision to serve only one type of coffee bean. “Having a choice makes you worry. Not having one creates a kind of peace of mind. I like to trust others and would like others to trust us for the choice of this coffee origin,” he said.
The café will also host an exhibition of the brand’s archives, showcasing quilts by frequent Touitou collaborator Jessica Ogden, starting on January 8, 2020.
