The New 'League of Legends' Hip-Hop Group Will Wear Outfits Designed by Louis Vuitton
The real-life version of the band will feature artists like Becky G, Keke Palmer and more.
Following the announcement of its collaboration with Louis Vuitton, Riot Games‘ League of Legends has just unveiled that its new hip-hop group called True Damage will be dressed in un-lockable skin designs by the luxury fashion house. The video game developer decided to implement another in-game musical act after the success of last year’s World Championship in Seoul with virtual K-pop group K/DA.
True Damage consists of five League heroes – Qiyana, Akali, Ekko, Yasuo and Senna – where players will be able to purchase their new looks starting November 10. The virtual music group will make its debut at the 2019 Worlds opening ceremonies, while the real version of the band will feature Becky G, Keke Palmer, Soyeon, Duckwrth, and Thutmose. Lead producer of League of Legends Jessica Nam shared in a press release: “Now it’s clear that gaming sits at the center of pop culture, and we couldn’t be more proud to partner with such great talent to showcase what League represents to the world.”
Mark your calendars as the 2019 Worlds Opening Ceremony will take place on November 10 along with a live performance starting at 8 a.m. EST.
