Virgil Abloh Shares Teaser For Upcoming "MARKERAD" Collection With IKEA

Virgil Abloh has shared the official commercial for his upcoming “MARKERAD” collection for Swedish homeware giant IKEA. Set for release on November 1, the collection’s offerings range from rugs and clocks printed with Abloh’s signature quotation-mark typography to minimalist wooden chairs, tables and cabinets.
The commercial, shot in a dreamlike surreal style spotlights a number of the collection’s key pieces including the “WET GRASS” and receipt rugs, a “TEMPORARY” clock and a Mona Lisa wall hanging. The much-anticipated collection will be sold in all U.S. stores, as well as select UK and Ireland locations.
