Check out the First Trailer for Lin-Manuel Miranda's 'In the Heights'
Featuring Miranda’s signature lyrical raps.
The first trailer for Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s much-anticipated movie In the Heights has arrived.
A screen adaptation of Miranda’s 2005 Broadway musical of the same name, the movie features the playwright’s signature lyrical raps, as well as some seriously impressive dance routines set on the streets of New York City‘s Washington Heights neighborhood. Directed by Jon M. Chu of Crazy Rich Asians, the film stars Miranda himself alongside Anthony Ramos (who also appeared in Hamilton), Corey Hawkins of Spike Lee‘s BlacKkKlansman and singer-songwriter Leslie Grace. Originally slated for release by The Weinstein Company, In the Heights was quickly secured by Warner Bros. following the slew of sexual harassment allegations against movie executive Harvey Weinstein.
