UPDATE: Following months of speculation, it seems as if Virgil Abloh and Nike are finally gearing up to release the previously teased Off-White™ x Nike Waffle Racer SP. Set to arrive in three colorways following the theme of the “Athlete in Progress” collection, the sneakers will come in “Black/Purple/White,” “White/Sail/Silver” as well as “Teal/Volt/Black.”
The shoe sports a duo-lace design, featuring both a traditional lace as well as a hiking-inspired system. In addition, the upper sees a textured plastic-like material complete with Swoosh branding as well as Off-White™’s signature text at the laterals. Finished off with a spiked rubber outsole, the sneaker is the ultimate statement piece.
The Off-White™ x Nike Waffle Racer SP is set to release on September 5 at select retailers as well as at nike.com. Take a look at the shoe below, and stay tuned as any more details surface.
