Pat McGrath Is Launching a New Foundation – in 36 Shades

As well as a 3-step process to achieving her iconic runway makeup look.

Yes, you read that right. Beauty icon Pat McGrath is lauching a “Skin Perfecting System” which has been in the making for more than three years. Set out to create the ultimate no-filer skin ritual for “runway, red carpet and editorial,” the new products come in three steps – Prime. Perfect. Set.

Starting off with the new “Sublime Perfection Primer,” which smoothes, hydrates and renews. Infused with hyaluronic acid, the water-based formula retains moisture and leaves your skin with a satin-like finish. Following the primer is McGrath’s new foundation, which arrives in a total of 36 shades. The formula is buildable from a sheer layer to a full cover-up, while boosting hydration and is also filled with Diamond Core Powder, which gives the skin an illuminating shine. When applied, the foundation provides a blurring effect, leaving a youthful finish. Pat McGrath recommends applying it with fingertips or with a wet sponge to achieve her iconic runway look.

Lastly, the collection also features the new Sublime Perfection Setting Powder, a luxurious, blend-able and soft powder which arrives in five different shades to go with the foundation range. The product leaves a “barely there” finish, and is formulated without parabens and fragrance.

In addition to the three holy grails, a set of brushes will also be available for purchase. The foundation will retail at $68 USD, primer at $60 USD, powder at $55 and the brushes at $55 and $58 USD respectively. The collection is set to launch on July 26, and will be available online at Pat McGrath’s website.
