Vans Boldly Salutes the LGBTQ Community With "Love" Pack

The Sk8-Hi and Slip-On both get a fabulous makeover.

Amid Pride Month, Vans has released its pro-LGBTQ “Love” pack. The two silhouettes pay homage to all New Yorkers, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or race.

Both the Sk8-Hi and Slip-on have been chosen as a canvas for this project. On the Sk8-Hi, a rainbow of different languages that spell “LOVE” circle the top and base. The laces too, are decorated with the slogan. As for the latter, the signature-print has been given a Pride-worthy upgrade, with “LOVE” printed on every black check. Both are revitalized upgrades on timeless, streetwear staples. Considering that New York is famously diverse with a booming LGBTQ community, the collection will make even the hardiest cynic smile.

To get yourself a pair, visit the Vault by Vans store in New York City at 219 Bowery. Extra points if you sashay the entire way.
