Lil Wayne Collaborates with American Eagle to Launch a 25-Piece Collection

Debuting on August 10.

With just a month and a half left of summer, American Eagle is about to release a collaboration collection with Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Lil Wayne for the back-to-school season. The line consists of 25 tie-dye and color-blocked pieces ranging from graphic T-shirts, shorts, hoodies, socks, boxers, hats and American Eagle’s Stacked jeans. In addition, the range includes skate decks in honor of the rapper’s hobby.

According to WWD, the clothing brand and the multi-platinum artist’s collaboration will be distributed to all American Eagle stores as well as their website making it more accessible to the targeted young consumers. “I know my fans wear and love the brand, so we came together to co-create a collection that blends my personality with American Eagle’s iconic style,” said Lil Wayne. “We designed the AE x Young Money collection with purpose and pride. Whether it’s my music or my style, I have always used both as an outlet for creativity and to live my truth — without apologies. American Eagle gets it. The brand celebrates individuality and to me that’s something I want to be a part of.”

Though the collection launches on August 10, where items range from $8 USD to $100 USD, American Eagle will reveal the entire line on July 30.
