Vans Releases DIY-Inspired Women’s Apparel & Footwear Collection

Taking you back to the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Vans has just launched an assortment of women’s apparel and footwear featuring heritage prints, graphics and logo treatments inspired by the ‘80s and ‘90s women’s product line called “Lady Vans.” The collection was curated by a collective of Vans designers who contributed a page in the Off The Wall Zine which serves as graphic design elements found across the range.

In the spirit of DIY and creative expression, consumers are encouraged to customize key pieces on their own from the collection. The brand has also included a long sleeve raglan top with an oversized zine graphic on the chest where you can find a “cut here” graphic on the inside of the shirt, showing how to customize, crop or turn the tee into a short sleeve. The midi dress has been designed in a bold screen print that can be customized to your liking as well. The range has also included the Lady Vans Coverall embroidered with patches down the sleeve and a logo on the chest.

As for sneakers, the Lady Vans Era and Sk8-Hi both highlight the all-over zine print and Vans “Off The Wall” retro graphics. The Era comes in three colorways including “Azalea Pink” and “Sharp Green,” while the Sk8-Hi is offered in black and “Azalea Pink” which features a contrasting sharp green medial side and is outfitted with a yellow side stripe.

The assortment is available now in select Vans retail locations and vans.com.
