2020 Grammys Glam: Dua Lipa, FKA twigs and More Stunning Beauty Looks

See the best hair, makeup and nail art at music’s biggest night.

At the 62nd Grammy Awards held at Los Angeles‘ Staples Center Sunday evening, nominated artists and performers turned heads in stylish red carpet looks, with stunning makeup, hairstyles and nail art to boot.

One of the best-dressed musicians of the night, FKA twigs complemented her custom gown by designer Ed Marler with red curls and a bold, cut crease look on the eyes. Dua Lipa was another artist that went for a statement eye look for the evening, blending sparkly shades of silver, light blue and indigo on the lids and below the lower lash line. To tie everything together, the “Don’t Start Now” singer wore a top knot, with the front section of her hair parted into two strands in ’90s style.

From Cardi B to Rosalía, to Billie Eilish, celebrities dressed their nails in statement-making designs. While the “Money” rapper and “Juro Que” songstress adorned their nails with Swarovski crystals, Eilish — who took home five awards — matched her nails to her Gucci logo-covered outfit.

Ahead, we round up the best beauty looks from the evening. While you’re at it, see the complete list of winners of the 2020 Grammy Awards.

FKA twigs showed up in fiery red locks, brushed-up brows and a cut crease look using Pat McGrath Labseyeshadows.

Dua Lipa‘s hairstylist Chris Appleton gave the singer’s top knot a ’90s twist.

Designed by nail artist Jenny Bui, Cardi B‘s manicure was adorned with nearly 100 Swarovski crystals.

Rosalía wore the perfect cat-eye and dramatic long nails that shined like a disco ball.

Billy Porter served up an icy makeup look, wearing metallic silver graphic liner and a matching lip color by Smashbox.

Lizzo‘s makeup artist Alexx Mayo created the artist’s smoldering eye look using Urban Decay‘s Naked Heat Palette.

Ariana Grande completed her Cinderella red carpet look with a blonde, high ponytail.

Billie Eilish matched her nails to her Gucci ensemble.

I am so overwhelmed for all the coverages about @billieeilish’s green Gucci nails from tonight’s @recordingacademy! Before people assume too much of how these nails were made, I think I should post the product break down now. ( I guess internet never wait for us however I was thinking how well I can finally sleep tonight.) The GG mark request was made by Billie’s team about a little over a week ago before the show. Later Billie’s team also said that she wants dark green color on her nails. Billie wanted something easily comes off after the show without leaving damage on her nails, so I used xxl press ons, and cut and filed to make square shape she wanted. My first inspiration was dark, but something subtly glows like allergy in the water. I looked around suitable product, then I decided to custom blend with a few of @OPI gels, and applied different tones in different coat. Here we go: First coat: March in Uniform x AmazOn AmazOff. ( makes darker green ) Second coat: custom mix of also AmazOn AmazOff and Sun, Sea, and Sand in My Pants. ( makes lighter green) I’ve noticed that if 2 similar colors, but in the different tones are applied in layers, the color would look like it has dimensionally depth. Later, the request of using Neon for logos to make, I decided also do custom blend. I hired 2 skillful nail artists to paint the logos. The gels used for hand painting logos are my personal neon green gel + OPI’s neon yellow Pump UP in the volume. Billie requested neon green, but I noticed that neon green is absorbed by base green color, so mixing neon yellow helps stand out. I decided to get help of a coupe of hand painting experts to speed up the job. I also promised Billie’s team that I don’ take busy Billie’s time more than one hour, so working on the both hands at the same time was ideal. Mika Akagawa, and Nao Ishita followed the process I created, and showed off amazing hand painting skills, but still it took around 15min for each nail to be painted since they are so detail. We worked at Billie’s family breakfast table in her house for 4 hrs. Everything had to be done in the same night. No pre meeting, just with email conference, and voila! We did!
