The Old-School adidas Microbounce Returns as a Brand New "All White" T1 Model
Using technology from over 12 years ago.
A massive throwback is incoming from adidas as they prepare to drop the Microbounce T1 sneaker in an “All White” colorway. The updated Microbounce T1 model, although fairly different in appearance to its 2008 predecessor, will still use the same bounce technology first released by the brand over 12 years ago.
When the sneakers first dropped back in the late 2010s, they revolutionized the running industry. The bounce technology introduced into these running shoes was unlike anything seen before: the Microbounce’s upper sat atop a high-compressed sole which was comprised of a set of hollow circular segments. Extreme comfort, cushioning and a bounce was at the forefront of this silhouette. Faster, more streamlined running was made possible.
This T1 is super sleek and as light as ever. It uses a mix of synthetic leather and mesh for the upper: supportive leather for the base of the support, heel, and eye stays and for everything else, breathable mesh. In terms of detailing, the triple-white sneaker features low-key Three-Stripe branding on the mid-panels, branding on the tongue, a reinforced toe-box and of course, white laces to wrap the whole sneaker up.
