END. x Converse "Blueprint Pack" Reworks the Jack Purcell & Chuck 70 Hi
Inspired by END.’s London flagship store.
Converse‘s signature Jack Purcell and Chuck 70 Hi silhouettes have been reworked and reimagined by UK-based retailer END. in a brand-new collaborative effort. Coined the “Blueprint” pack, this END. x Converse sneaker release kicks off their first partnership of the new decade and has been inspired by the original blueprint plans for END.’s flagship store in Soho, London.
The Converse classics have been reinterpreted in two unique and disparate ways. Both represent the similarities between footwear and architecture – more specifically the design processes behind the two – and pair the retailer’s brick and mortar history with the heritage behind Converse’s American sports apparel appeal. Uppers on the Jack Purcell and Chuck 70 Hi depict the initial floorplans of END.’s flagship store, yet colors across the two differ: the Chuck 70 Hi comes in a black, white and “Egret” paint-job while the Jack Purcell in a “Natural Ivory” colorway with black detailing. Similarities, on the flip side, can be found across the semi-transparent TPU film across the uppers, dual-branded insoles and a grid-print footbed.
