Every cent counts.

In response to the recent devastating bushfire disaster in Australia, the Kering chain of brands has come together to show their support for those residing in Australia. According to a press release, 12 labels have gathered a total of $1 million AU (approximately $687,515 USD) as an immediate contribution. The brands include Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, Qeelin, Ulysse Nardin and Girard-Perregaux.

The funds collected will be provided to the most appropriate local organizations selected by the Kering’s sustainability experts. In addition, the company will be implementing other initiatives such as plans to participate in future reforestation and biodiversity programs.

If you’re looking to help out Australia during this difficult time, here are some organizations you can donate to.
