Moncler's First Collection With 1017 ALYX 9SM Is Full of Hardware-Heavy Outerwear
Fastened with ALYX’s signature rollercoaster belt.
Initially unveiled at Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2019, Moncler‘s latest Genius initiative with 1017 ALYX 9SM is officially here. The latest installment in a long line of collaborations with labels including Palm Angels, Simone Rocha and Craig Green, the new collection sees designer Matthew Williams add signature ALYX touches to puffer outerwear and activewear-inspired separates.
Long coats rendered in leather and technical fabric incorporate sleek lines paramount to ALYX’s design aesthetic. Patent puffers in white, black and hi-vis orange colorways feature an ALYX rollercoaster belt buckle, stamped with Moncler’s logo, at the neck. A grey hooded puffer and black parka are belted at the waist with a silver rollercoaster buckle and carabiner-style clip, respectively. Separates including a body-hugging turtleneck and leggings are woven with Moncler branding, while tactical vests feature an asymmetric cut and hardware detailing.
