Continuing the celebration of the Air Max 90‘s 30th Anniversary this year, Nike is releasing a rather unique iteration of the Air Max 90 SE for the coming festive Easter season. Arriving in a “White/Multi Color/Purple Nebula” colorway, this newcomer dons some interesting features, those not too usual for the average AM90 drop.
This recently surfaced 90 SE is decked out in mostly-white premium leather, perfect for the contrasting pops of color on the iridescent Swoosh, glazing over from a light purple tone to green, navy and yellow. It’s a nebula explosion. The waffle-outsoles come in purple and beige, the Air unit in a refreshing Volt color enclosed in a violet cassette, the upper eyestays and collar in navy, and a cracked-egg graphic graces the shoe’s insoles as well as acts as the base to the removable Velcro tongue. The removable tongue tab – perhaps the star of the show – comes as a lilac-colored leather tag, embroidered with Nike’s branding in white. When there’s velcro, there’s a winner.
