KKW Beauty Drops "Opalescent" Collection Inspired by Kim Kardashian's Birthstone

The brand announced a surprise 40% off sale that ends tonight.

Kim Kardashian welcomed her 40th birthday with a brand new KKW Beauty collection, dubbed “Opalescent.” The reality TV star’s latest range features an eyeshadow palette, liquid lipsticks, a lip gloss and lip liners. Kardashian commented on her latest project in a press release and stated:

“To celebrate turning 40, I wanted to create a collection that was unique from the products and shades down to the packaging. As I was developing the product range, I thought of my opal birthstone, because there are so many different colors that come from the stone based on the refraction of the light. The shades are bold, bright and spirited, and it was important that they could be versatile enough for everyday wear or to layer for a more intense glam look. I wanted the packaging to match the theme of the collection, so each product has an opalescent sheen inspired by the kaleidoscopic colors of the opal. I loved creating this collection and I can’t wait to see the looks you create with it.”

The 10-pan pressed powder palette boasts four metallic shades and six buttery smooth matte shadows that come in hues of beige, violet, peach and more. Available in eight colorways that include nudes and pinks, the semi-matte lipsticks feature a new lip formula infused with passion fruit seed oil, vitamin E and kaolin that all work together to provide your lips with hydration and antioxidant protection. Rounding out the line is the moisturizing gloss in “Opalescent,” as well as the label’s signature creamy liners in burnt orange “Suprise Party” and hot pink “Birthday Kiss.”

In addition to this launch, Kardashian has announced a special 40 percent off on her favorite must-haves on KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance, which ends on October 21 at 11:59 p.m. PST (October 22 at 2:59 a.m. EST). The “Opalescent” collection ranges from $12 to $45 USD, which is now available to purchase via KKW Beauty’s website.
