Brazilian Designers Took Over 300 Hours to Craft Mickey Mouse Ping Pong Table
Complete with matching Mickey Mouse paddles.
Brazilian designers Humberto and Fernando Campana, better known as the Campana Brothers, have unveiled an ambitious new project. The duo created a hand-carved, wooden ping pong table paying homage to Mickey Mouse. Renderings of the famous cartoon character are inlaid in the table, as well as in the center of two matching ping pong rackets. Instead of a standard fabric net, the brothers built a wooden partition, intricately carved with geometric cut-outs, into the table itself. The set, which took over 300 hours to craft, is completed with a wooden box that holds the paddles and custom balls for gameplay.
The Campana Brothers’ Mickey Mouse ping pong set is limited to 25 editions and is currently on view at Lane Crawford’s POP INFINITY store in Hong Kong.
