Nicole McLaughlin Reworks Crocs With Outdoor-Inspired Details
The limited-edition clogs come with outdoor essentials like a headlamp and compass.
Following her upcycling project with Chinatown Market, Nicole McLaughlin has now teamed up with Crocs for a pair of outdoor-inspired clogs. Created in partnership with Foot Locker‘s creative platform Greenhouse, the latest design highlights the New York-based creative’s innovative style.
Reworking Crocs’ black clog, McLaughlin ties a long strand of paracord to the upper on one shoe, while a small pocket adorns the other. A headlamp lights up the strap, while the utility-focused aesthetic is continued through a compass attached to the silhouette. The design is rounded off with a stuff sack-inspired covering around the ankle, followed by a carabiner hanging at the rear.

In case you missed it, Crocs dropped a set of fuzzy clogs featuring zebra and tie-dye prints.
