Replace Your Basic Nintendo Switch Controllers With These New Pokémon-Themed Ones

Featuring some of the video game’s beloved characters: Pikachu and Eevee.

Following the release of the Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing wireless controllers, another third-party console accessories manufacturer has unveiled themed controllers – Split Pad Pro and D-Pad – for the gaming console. Designed by Japan-based company HORI, the tech accessories feature beloved characters from popular video game series, Pokémon. The Split Pad Pro arrives in a bulky silhouette available in black and mint green. One iteration sports Pikachu, while the other features both Pikachu and Eevee. Similar to the Joy-Con, the D-Pad comes in the same dimensions but only works in handheld mode.

Take a closer look at both styles in the gallery above. HORI’s Pokémon-themed Nintendo Switch controllers range from $25 to $60 USD and will officially drop on October 30. You can now pre-order your favorite design online.
