Stussy Celebrates 40th Anniversary With Limited-Edition Varsity Jacket, Tee and Ring
With proceeds supporting the fight against racism.
Seeing a successful year through coveted collaborations with names like Nike and Off-White™, Stussy is now celebrating its 40th anniversary with a set of limited-edition goods. The capsule is comprised of a varsity jacket, ring and T-shirt.
Highlighting the streetwear label’s staple, the black IST varsity jacket is embroidered with “Earth in the corner pocket” text at the front chest, while an 8-Ball patch adorns the back. Customers purchasing the piece at Stussy’s flagship stores and Dover Street Market will be able to add customized names at the front, and those buying from online and select Chapters will receive “NY.L.T.LA” branding. The outerwear design is rounded off with black sleeves that are emblazoned with number patches.
Meanwhile, the tee celebrates the history of Stussy and supports the fight against racism with text reading, “SMASH RACISM” and “NO LIVES MATTER… UNTIL BLACK LIVES MATTER! THE REVOLUTION IS IN THE HANDS OF THE YOUNG… WHAT SIDE OF HISTORY DO YOU CHOOSE?”
Elsewhere, the gold-plated silver ring features inscriptions highlighting the heritage of the brand. “Stussy 1980” and “Tribe 2020” are added to each side, while The Birth of Venus is etched at the top.

Stussy’s 40th Anniversary Collection is slated to drop on October 30 at the brand’s Chapter locations and online store, as well as Dover Street Market. All proceeds from T-shirt sales will go towards the Equal Justice Initiative.
