H&M's Conscious FW20 Collection Is Made Out of Waste

Boasting prints inspired by vintage floral wallpaper and tapestries.

As part of its eco-friendly Conscious line, H&M is set to release a brand new Fall/Winter 2020 collection crafted entirely from sustainably-sourced materials made from waste. The range features both menswear and womenswear styles arriving in an array of bold silhouettes and seasonal colorways.

The women’s designs include evening gowns that come in black and green jacquard taffeta, yellow jacquard or are dressed with muted green-toned flowers. Elsewhere, statement tops and tailored suiting can be found in the line. As for the men’s offerings, the range consists of tuxedos, suits, shirts and a yellow jacquard jacket. Complete your look with the brand’s new accessories like the recycled bold choker necklaces, earrings and shoe clips, or the sunglasses constructed out of Made of Air®, a material partly made from waste biomass. Rounding out the collection are the shoes made from VEGEA™, a vegan leather partly produced from wine by-products, which can be worn as a mule or boot with a removable sock.

H&M’s Conscious Exclusive FW20 collection will be available online on December 3. Two H&M stores in Stockholm and Berlin will allow customers to rent out six different pieces from the range, in which select silhouettes are unique to only the rental service.
