Starbucks Hong Kong Unveils a New Christmas Flavor: Jolly Baked Apple
Along with a selection of themed desserts.
With Christmas a month away, Starbucks Hong Kong has released new seasonal beverages to get you into the festive spirit. This year, the coffee company has used red apples as its main flavor to recreate the warm and fuzzy feeling of eating a freshly baked apple pie.
Dubbed the Jolly Baked Apple, the latte is brewed with espresso and steamed milk infused with a rich baked apple sauce. Depending on your preference, you can either enjoy your coffee as is, or add whipped cream topped off with apple syrup and chewy apple candies. Featuring a tangy hint of baked apple, the cold brew comes with a thick layer of velvety foam, apple candy bits and a dash of cinnamon powder. Finally, the nitro cold brew is mixed with a hint of sharp apple notes, which goes well with the drink’s microbubbles.
For the dessert lovers out there, don’t forget to pair your drink with a themed pastry. You can choose from a selection of sweet delights like the Matcha and Chocolate Cake, Christmas Tree Brownie, Christmas Gingerbread Man and Christmas Snowy Gingerbread.
