Sustainable Brand YANYAN Debuts New Hair Accessories Range
Complete your holiday look with these statement scrunchies and headbands.
Known for its knitwear styles, eco-conscious Hong Kong label YANYAN has launched its first accessories category. In celebration of the upcoming holidays, the brand has dropped a limited-edition capsule that consists of nine hair items inspired by its Fall/Winter 2020 and Spring/Summer 2021 collections.
“Since we’ve started spending so much time at home, it’s become harder and harder to imagine getting as dressed up to go outside as we used to be,” said YANYAN’s designers Phyllis and Suzzie in a press release. “What we look for in our clothing now is comfort and amusement, but still make us feel like we’re ready to take on the day.”
The line includes two giant scrunchies decorated with its Laza and Fafa print, along with headbands featuring YANYAN’s signature pineapple knot closures. Created in partnership with Yuya Nara, Art Director of hair and makeup boutique SHIMA HARAJUKU, the four other styles boast YANYAN’s Fafa cloud print embroidered with its Rosie pineapple knot motif.
The hair accessories range from $95 to $165 USD and are now available to shop via YANYAN’s web store and Café Forgot in New York.
