6 Moncler 1017 ALYX 9SM Readies for Winter With Sustainable Outerwear Styles
A Swarovski dust-coated puffer jacket, zip-up trench coats and more.
Back in September, Moncler Genius and JW Anderson released their Fall/Winter 2020 collection, which was first seen on the runway during Milan Fashion Week. Now, the Italian fashion house has returned with a new FW20 line in collaboration with 1017 ALYX 9SM.
This season, Matthew Williams decided to focus on a muddy palette of neutral hues mixed with black. Additionally, the designer’s signature detailed cuts, taped tailoring, laser-cut elements and seamless sonic bonding can be found throughout the range. Standout silhouettes include the Swarovski dust-coated puffer jacket, parkas, cropped blousons, zip-up trench coats, sleek trousers and leggings, all constructed out of organic fabric.
Elsewhere, the tight and tops feature Econyl®, “a regenerated nylon derived from ocean and land based waste,” according to Moncler. The signature hardware accessories and rubber boots round out the line. Take a look at the editorial shoot in the gallery above.
