1 Moncler JW Anderson's FW20 Collection Defies Gender Barriers

Following the release of its outerwear collection in partnership with Craig Green, Moncler Genius is set to launch another collaborative range with JW Anderson this week, which was revealed on the runway during Milan Fashion Week. Known for his gender-defying pieces and architectural aesthetic, Jonathan Anderson has reimagined his iconic pieces arriving in inflated silhouettes.
“The collection is extremely playful in spirit,” notes the brand in a press release. Catering to both men and women, the line includes zip-up blousons with padded zip-pullers, padded scarves, wide-brim hats and shorts that boast vibrant blocks of color. Sculptural motifs like embossed dots and protruding spikes add further depth to the garments, while nods to the countryside blend with elements of the urban lifestyle. Accessories like the packable boots and padded bags with padded chain details round out the range.
