Joining labels like Maison Margiela and Marni.
Since its inception in 1976, Jil Sander has been acquired by a range of fashion groups, including Prada Group, Change Capital Partners and most recently, Onward Holdings Co. Ltd. Now, it seems as if Italian fashion group OTB is in talks to acquire the label.
OTB boasts a roster of brands including Maison Margiela, Diesel and Marni, and is currently under the leadership of Renzo Rosso. The acquisition is reported to help the group scale up its business and diversifying its portfolio, especially seeing as Jil Sander has a handful of anticipated collaborations scheduled for the new year.
