Nanushka Introduces Eyewear With Collection of Gold-Accented Sunglasses
Made with biodegradable frames.
Nanushka, the emerging sustainable fashion brand spotted on the likes of Gigi Hadid and Michelle Obama, is launching eyewear as part of its Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Expanding into a new accessories category, the label has unveiled an inaugural range of sunglasses constructed with biodegradable frames and lenses made of “39 percent natural and renewable sources.”
Arriving in an earthy color palette, the collection spans rimless, rectangular glasses to futuristic, shield-like frames. A pair of shrunken shades boast a retro feel while square, Wayfarer-style lenses are a classic must-have. Gold logo detailing at the temples add touches of shine. A particularly ambitious pair swaps out traditional temples for weighted gold chains heavy enough to keep the frames secured on the face.
Nanushka’s SS21 eyewear collection launches in February.
