'Pokémon's New Breakfast Cereal Features Pikachu-Shaped Marshmallows
Start your morning right.
Back in 2000, Pokémon and Kellogg’s released a marshmallow-laden breakfast cereal that flew off shelves (now, you can cop the boxes for as much as $239 USD on eBay). Bringing back the nostalgia of the sugary collaboration, Pokémon has teamed up with General Mills on a new breakfast option, a berry-flavored homage to Pikachu.
Marking the 25th anniversary of Pokémon, the franchise’s Berry Bolt cereal features a base of blueberry-flavored corn puffs topped with yellow marshmallows shaped like Pikachu’s head and lightening bolt tail. Pikachu also makes a headline appearance on the cereal’s bright red box, which has already hit resale websites.
The Pokémon x General Mills Berry Bolt cereal is available at grocery stores across the U.S.
