Gucci Unveils a Psychedelic Capsule Collection for Its Chicago Pop-Up

Arriving just in time for the NBA All-Star Weekend.

Just ahead of the NBA All-Star Weekend, Gucci has unveiled a themed pin on Google Maps as well as a capsule collection for its upcoming pop-up in Chicago. Situated on North Morgan Street, the temporary location will feature the luxury house’s new GG Psychedelic Collection which is slated to arrive in stores later this month.

Kicking off the range is an exclusive basketball dressed in a ’70s-style rainbow GG pattern. Retailing at $1,980 USD, the ball is created to honor All-Star Weekend. The same pattern is found throughout accompanying garments such as a button-down shirt, windbreaker jacket, sneakers and slides, as well as leather goods including bucket bags, luggage items and iPhone cases. In addition to the capsule collection, NBA and WNBA athletes will be visiting the pop-up store this Saturday for a celebration hosted by the North America Changemakers Impact Fund for two Chicago-based recipients.

Scroll through the gallery below for Gucci’s latest offerings ranging from fashion pieces to bags and phone cases, which will be available at the brand’s Chicago pop-up running from February 14 to March 2. For more luxury items, check out Louis Vuitton’s new monogram suitcases.
