Back in January, Lady Gaga fans went wild over a leaked track by the singer, “Stupid Love,” her first release since 2016. Gaga asked fans to stop illegally streaming the single to no avail, perhaps influencing her decision to give the hit an official release as well as its own music video.
A teaser for the music video shows Lady Gaga and a group of backup dancers on what appears to be a foreign planet. Gaga sports pastel pink hair and a matching metallic pink outfit. The short clip is set to soaring string instrumentals, and subtitles show Gaga mouthing, “All I ever wanted was love.”
Lady Gaga’s “Stupid Love” releases February 28 at 12 a.m. EST. The song is the lead single off her upcoming sixth album, currently being referred to as LG6. Stay tuned as more details on the release date of LG6 emerge.
