UPDATE: Maison Margiela x Reebok's Tabi Instapump Fury Receives a Release Date

Check out the newly debuted colorways here.

UPDATE (February 27, 2020): Building on the initial reveal of Maison Margiela‘s collaboration with Reebok, the famed French fashion house introduced new iterations of the Tabi-fied Instapump Fury at its Fall/Winter 2020 runway show in Paris.

Paying homage to both brands, the silhouette of Reebok’s Instapump Fury is updated with the split toe of Margiela’s iconic Tabi boot. The shoe arrives in both heeled and flat platform versions in six colorways: all-white and all-black in two different textures, as well as yellow-red-black and white-blue-black.

The Maison Margiela x Reebok Instapump Fury Tabi will officially release in September. Stay tuned for an exact drop date.

ORIGINAL STORY (January 22, 2020): What’s sure to be one of the most memorable moments of Spring/Summer 2020 Paris Couture Week, Maison Margiela debuted a brand new collaboration with Reebok on the runway: melding two iconic styles from each brand, the shoe applies Margiela’s split-toe Tabi to Reebok’s Instapump Fury sneaker.

The sneaker-boot hybrid arrives in a flat platform and heeled version. The flat sole echoes the design of Margiela’s Retro Fit sneaker, while the chunky heeled iteration interprets Reebok’s Instapump Fury sole. The Reebok Vector is branded on the heel, while Maison Margiela is stitched in white on the upper back. The two styles are rendered in color combinations echoing Reebok’s OG colorways — all-black, all-white, yellow-black-red and white-blue-red.

Stay tuned as the Maison Margiela x Reebok Instapump Fury Tabi hits retailers.
