UPDATE (February 27, 2020): Doja Cat‘s newly released music video for “Say So” features a surprise referencing the song’s viral success on social media. Since its release, “Say So” has seen its very own dance challenge on TikTok – its origins began with TikTok star Haley Sharpe, an Alabama teenager whom Doja Cat decided to cast in her new video. Sharpe performs her much-copied “Say So” dance in the video alongside appearances from fellow content creator Donté Colley.

ORIGINAL STORY (February 26, 2020): Doja Cat’s track “Say So,” off her latest sophomore album Hot Pink, unexpectedly became an overnight hit thanks to social media platforms, namely Tik Tok. Thanks to the viral success of the song, the R&B artist took to Instagram to announce that she will finally be releasing an official music video for “Say So” featuring dancer and content creator Donté Colley. Her caption reads: “You b*tches wanted it, now you’ll have it. Say So video tomorrow at 10AM ET #DojaCatSaySo.”
