UPDATE (February 27, 2020): Doja Cat‘s newly released music video for “Say So” features a surprise referencing the song’s viral success on social media. Since its release, “Say So” has seen its very own dance challenge on TikTok – its origins began with TikTok star Haley Sharpe, an Alabama teenager whom Doja Cat decided to cast in her new video. Sharpe performs her much-copied “Say So” dance in the video alongside appearances from fellow content creator Donté Colley.

ORIGINAL STORY (February 26, 2020): Doja Cat’s track “Say So,” off her latest sophomore album Hot Pinkunexpectedly became an overnight hit thanks to social media platforms, namely Tik Tok. Her caption reads: “You b*tches wanted it, now you’ll have it. Say So video tomorrow at 10AM ET #DojaCatSaySo.”
