adidas Originals Taps Ji Won Choi and Olivia O'Blanc for Its Latest Collection
Two collaborators join forces.
For its latest collection, adidas Originals has tapped two previous collaborators – Ji Won Choi and Olivia O’Blanc. Having previously worked with the Three Stripes, this time around the two creatives are joining forces to create “an elevated capsule collection designed for the freethinking and creative woman.”
Combining Ji Won Choi’s signature striped details with Olivia O’Blanc’s utilitarian influences, the collection perfectly marries the vision of both designers. The collection features a handful of apparel in red and black hues such as tracksuits and bags, as well as a pair of reimagined adidas Originals Superstar sneakers, boasting two wide velcro straps across the top. The straps are interchangeable, and the shoe also features reflective laces and arrives with a co-branded sockliner and keychain, all packaged in a special box.
