Following Legal Battles, Megan Thee Stallion Will Drop New Album 'Suga' This Week
Her upcoming release arrives sooner than you think.
Between filing a lawsuit and announcing the release date of her upcoming album Suga, it’s been quite a week for Megan Thee Stallion. Just a few days ago, the Houston rapper was granted a temporary restraining order against record label 1501 Entertainment, which allegedly owes the breakout star $1 million USD in damages. Now that Megan is temporarily free from the restrictive hold of the label, the “Hot Girl Summer” originator will proceed with the release of Suga, set to drop on March 6.
Megan announced the news on Instagram with a post of the new album’s cover art and a caption reading “SUGA 3/6.” Roc Nation, Jay-Z‘s entertainment agency, commented with a series of emojis on Meg’s post, perhaps hinting at a future partnership.
Stay tuned for the official release of Megan Thee Stallion’s Suga.
