"Sock Hair" Is the Latest TikTok Trend You Need to Try

The perfect heatless curls.

During the past few months, TikTok has become one of the most popular social media platforms, allowing users to create videos with music, effects and collaboration. The site has created some of the most viral trends, including the whipped Dalgona coffee, the “Renegade” dance challenge as well as the three-ingredient peanut butter cookies, and now the latest trick is going viral.

TikTok is bringing back heatless curls using the sock technique, and although it is not a new way of curling your hair, it is introducing the quick and easy hack to a younger audience. All you need is a couple of socks or something soft to wrap your hair around, and then proceed to braid your hair around the sock.

Celebrity hair stylist Justine Marjan demonstrated a handful of techniques on her TikTok channel, proving that heatless waves can be achieved by using stockings, socks or even the waistband from your bathrobe. Peep the different techniques below, and get ready to try it out for yourself. For more viral TikTok trends, peep these 17 challenges that have blown up during self-isolation.
