Apple Releases Rainbow Watch Bands for Pride Month

In collaboration with Nike.

Looking ahead to Pride Month in June, Apple has announced two new styles of wristbands for its popular Apple Watch. Part of Apple’s rubber “Sport Band” collection made with Nike, both straps feature the rainbow LGBTQ+ Flag front and center. The first arrives fully striped in rainbow and the second takes a more subtle approach with rainbow-accented perforations. Matching rainbow Pride Watch faces will be introduced as part of Apple’s watchOS 6.2.5 software update.

With their new efforts, Apple and Nike are supporting LGBTQ+ organizations, including GLSEN, PFLAG, The Trevor Project, Gender Spectrum, The National Center for Transgender Equality and ILGA World.

Apple and Nike’s Pride Edition Sport Band retails for $49 USD each and are available on the Apple website now.
