Marking the fifth installment of Dr. Martens‘ 1460 Remastered initiative, Jun Takahashi of Undercover has teamed up with the footwear brand to reimagine its classic 1460 boot.
Applying his signature dark aesthetic to the shoe, Takahashi chose jet black corduroy to comprise the boot’s upper. The letters S and N are embroidered on the vamp of the left and right shoes respectively, representing Undercover’s slogan, Spiritual Noise. Floral illustrations, a recurring theme in much of Takahashi’s work, is printed on the insole. Dr. Martens’ treaded rubber sole and yellow-black heel loop finish off the collaborative style.
