adidas Originals Releases a Vegan Iteration of the SC Premiere Sneaker
The ’80s silhouette arrives in a classic, minimal design.
Following a triple “Off White” colorway, adidas Originals has now introduced a vegan iteration of its classic SC Premiere shoe. The latest release falls in line with adidas‘ continued sustainability efforts including previous eco-friendly drops.
Originally debuted in the ’80s, the SC Premiere boasts classic court shoe construction, which has become a popular choice among minimalists. This time around, the sneaker is fully crafted with sustainable materials including a white vegan leather upper with 100 percent recycled polyester lining. The sock liners arrive in OrthoLite® material, which is made using recycled rubber. The overall design is contrasted with a patterned mid and outsole, which is crafted with 90 percent natural rubber and 10 percent waste rubber content. Completing the design is a green emblem branded “The Clean Classics,” highlighting the eco-friendly aspect of the shoe.
