Rihanna has tapped buzzy shoe designer Amina Muaddi, known for her vibrant, sky-high heels, to design a collection of shoes for FENTY‘s “7-20” release. Bringing her architectural eye to the range of strappy sandals, Muaddi debuts an upside-down stiletto heel reminiscent of an inverted steel nail.

The Braid Me Up sandal is constructed of interlacing suede, leather and crystal-studded straps that tie up the ankle. Caged In is a maximalist style that encases the foot in a maze of thin straps that weave up the calf while the Meshy Mule is a simple slip on heel made of breathable, semi-sheer fabric. Lastly, Code Word features a raw metal heel and a clear PVC strap that accompanies criss-cross lacing across the vamp.
