Megan Thee Stallion Creates Exclusive Anime-Inspired Merch With Crunchyroll

Having revealed a Mad Max-inspired show at the 2020 BET Awards last month, Megan Thee Stallion has now teamed up with manga distributor Crunchyroll to create a range of anime streetwear pieces. The collaboration highlights the musician’s love for Japanese animation while taking inspiration from some of her previous work including “Savage.”

The artist has been well-known for her love for anime, having included Naruto and Sasuke references in her track “Girl in the Hood.” “I’m half anime character, half rapper,” the singer once mentioned in an interview with Crunchyroll.

For the partnership, Megan Thee Stallion designed six exclusive pieces in total, featuring T-shirts, hoodies, a long-sleeved tee and a tote bag. Each item, arriving in either black or orange, boasts graphics reminiscent to visuals from the “Savage” music video. The designs are complete with text branding, such as “MTS x CR” as well as the artist’s name and the Crunchyroll logo.

Scroll through the gallery above for a full look at the Crunchyroll x Megan Thee Stallion collection, which is available for pre-order until July 20. Items are priced from $19.95 USD to $59.95 USD.
