teamLab Unveils New Interactive Art Installations For Upcoming Seoul Exhibition
Set to open at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza on September 18.
UPDATE (August 7, 2020): Last month, teamLab announced a new exhibition called teamLab: LIFE, which is set to open in Seoul‘s Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) this September. Now, the art collective has unveiled the pieces that will be showcased throughout the entirety of the exhibit.
Key interactive installations are Universe of Water Particles that explores the beauty of water and Flowers and People that features a year’s worth of seasonal flowers. Other artworks include Life Survives by the Power of Life, Animals of Flowers, Beating Earth, Shifting Valley, Untitled, Flutter of Butterflies Beyond Borders, Proliferating Immense Life and Continuous Life and Death at the Crossover of Eternity.

ORIGINAL STORY (July 8, 2020): teamLab is set to launch a brand new exhibition dubbed teamLab: LIFE at Seoul’s Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), a multi-cultural complex designed by Zaha Hadid. According to a press release, the digital art installation will feature immersive pieces that explore the beauty of the continuity of life.
The art collective will start to transform the DDP this fall into an interactive space for the upcoming exhibition where visitors will get to “explore the relationship between the self and the world and new perceptions through art created using digital technology.” teamLab: LIFE will be open to the public on September 18, 2020 and will run until March 28, 2021.
