Here's When IVY PARK x adidas Originals' "Platform" Superstars Are Releasing

Get ready to sport the chunky shoes this season.

UPDATE (September 14, 2020): While we took a first look at Beyoncé‘s upcoming IVY PARK x adidas Originals collaboration last month, the sportswear giant has finally unveiled the official release date of the anticipated kicks. As seen earlier, the new Superstar sneaker arrives in its classic, original details, with a three-layer midsole highlighting the look. Celebrating 50 years of the iconic silhouette, the collaborative shoe is complete with a pointed toe for a statement-making design.

Priced at £169.95 GBP (approximately $218 USD), the IVY PARK x adidas Originals “Platform” Superstars are slated to drop at 3:30 p.m. BST (10:30 a.m. EST) on September 18 via adidas’ mobile app and 9 a.m. HKT (9 p.m. EST on September 17) via HBX.

ORIGINAL STORY (August 20, 2020): Following their highly coveted collaboration released earlier this year, Beyoncé‘s IVY PARK and adidas Originals have joined forces once again for a new Superstar iteration. Dubbed “Platform,” the latest sneakers mostly stay true to the classic look, but are elevated with layered midsoles. The lower section of the shoe comes in a smaller size, creating a chunky, structured feel. Wrapping around the Superstar silhouette, the newly added rubber soles are finished off with a pointy end at the toe and angle at the lateral. Finishing off the “Platform” kicks are black stripes running across the sides, as well as Beyoncé’s name printed on the insole just beneath adidas‘ Trefoil logo.

Take a closer look in the gallery above. While not much information has been revealed just yet, IVY PARK x adidas Originals’ “Platform” Superstars are expected to be priced around $160 USD. Stay tuned as we learn more details on the release.

In the meantime, check out Sean Wotherspoon’s take on the iconic sneaker.
