Apple Officially Unveils iPhone 12, Available in Green and Blue
The company also announced the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone Pro Max models.
Apple‘s October event saw the tech giant officially announce several new products, most notably the highly anticipated iPhone 12. As predicted, the upgraded smartphone features a sleek new design that re-introduces the flat edges of the iPhone 5.
The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 and 5.4-inch iPhone 12 Mini, a novel addition to the iPhone range, boast 5G technology and the A14 Bionic, the fastest chip in a smartphone. Both models, available in black, white, blue, green and red colorways, feature an upgraded edge-to-edge screen and two cameras at the back. A MagSafe magnet system improves wireless charging and paves the way for snap-on accessories such as cases and card holders.
Heavier duty options, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, arrive in four stainless steel finishes: graphite, silver, gold, and blue. Boasting all the features of the iPhone 12, the Pro and Pro Max upgrade the photography experience with three lenses at the back. The 6.7-inch Pro Max also features Apple’s largest-ever Super Retina XDR display (the 6.1-inch Pro is only slightly smaller).
Head to the Apple website to pre-order the iPhone 12 starting on October 16. Pricing ranges from $699 USD for the iPhone 12 Mini to $1,099 USD for the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
