Apple's Fall Product Releases Rumored to Include New iPad Air and Two Apple Watches
The tech giant will likely announce the additions this month.
Marking the beginning of September, the month Apple typically announces its upcoming product releases, tech insiders report that customers can expect a new iPad Air as well as two new versions of the Apple Watch.
According to a report by The Verge, the iPad Air has been updated with slimmer bezels, similar to the iPad Pro, as well as a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. In late August, unverified photos of a pamphlet for the new model surfaced on Twitter. Additionally, Apple will reportedly launch a successor to the Apple Watch Series 5. A lower-end update on the Series 3 will also be introduced.
Aside from the iPad Air and Watch, Apple will also release four new iPhones (Bloomberg reported that the company plans to ship 75 to 80 million 5G smartphones this year, in line with figures from previous years), as well as over-the-ear headphones and a smaller, lower-priced HomePod smart speaker. In the meantime, the release of the iPhone 12 has been delayed.
