For its latest campaign, luxury fashion house Balenciaga has tapped none other than Cardi B to front it. The “WAP” singer has previously been quoting the brand in several songs, most notably her iconic line in “I Like It” referencing the signature Balenciaga sock runners, and she’s one of the first big celebrities to now star in a campaign for the brand.
Shot during lockdown, the campaign sees Cardi sport a razor sharp bob as well as a figure-hugging black dress, laid on grass scattered with children’s toys and bags. The campaign image has been posted on a billboard right next to Paris’ iconic Louvre museum, and will stay there until the end of the month.
