Emilio Pucci Announces SS21 Collaboration With Tomo Koizumi
To be revealed during Milan Fashion Week.
Emilio Pucci, which recently implemented a guest designer business model, has announced the collaborator for its upcoming Spring/Summer 2021 collection: Tomo Koizumi. Following in the steps of Fall/Winter 2020 guest designer Christelle Kocher, Koizumi designed a capsule collection merging his sculptural silhouettes with Pucci’s affinity for color and pattern.
“This is a dream [come] true,” Koizumi, a 2020 LVMH Prize finalist, said of the collaboration. A spokesperson for Pucci elaborated on what to expect from the upcoming capsule: “Tomo is a kind of magician, crossing his beautiful technique with a fanciful and dreamy vision of womanhood. In a dialogue with the Pucci creative team, he will be adding his spectacular and fun touch to this SS21 Pucci sophisticated and highly feminine collection.”
The Tomo Koizumi x Emilio Pucci SS21 collection will debut in a short film at Milan Fashion Week on September 26.
