adidas' Sustainable Stan Smith PRIMEGREEN Arrives With Earth-Inspired Doodles
Reminiscent of Sean Wotherspoon’s 2020 SUPEREARTH Superstar collab.
Back in December 2020, adidas announced that it would produce its iconic Stan Smith out of 100 percent eco-friendly materials. Following its Kermit the Frog iteration, the sportswear brand has reworked the silhouette featuring doodles inspired by Mother Nature.
The latest style’s leather upper is constructed out of PRIMEGREEN – a sustainable material that does not contain virgin plastic. Reminiscent of Sean Wotherspoon‘s 2020 SUPEREARTH Superstar collaboration, playful graphics can be found throughout, such as flowers, raindrops, a globe and a hand-drawn Trefoil logo. Rounding out the pair is the green heel tab and the PRIMEGREEN-printed insole. Take a closer look above.
Priced at ¥12,000 JPY (approximately $116 USD), you can now cop adidas’ Stan Smith PRIMEGREEN at stockists like atmos.
