Capsule coffee machines are commonly found in households today, but have you ever seen a pod ice cream maker? CES 2021 has spotlighted a fun kitchen appliance by Sigma Phase that can serve you with your favorite frozen treat in just one minute.
The ColdSnap, a countertop gadget that looks like a water dispenser at first glance, makes desserts like ice cream, frozen cocktails and smoothies from specially-designed cans. Each of the recyclable aluminum pods features a built-in QR code and a liquid mix that freezes in around 60 to 90 seconds. The cans can be stored for up to one year.
