Meet the members of The Sparrow Academy.
After leaving fans with a major cliffhanger last season, the third installment of Netflix‘s The Umbrella Academy is set to begin production next month. In addition to the original cast members, namely Elliot Page, Justin H. Min, Robert Sheehan, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher and Cameron Britton, the streaming giant has announced new actors who will be portraying the roles of The Sparrow Academy students.
According to Entertainment Weekly, five new faces will be featured in the upcoming season. Justin Cornwell will play Marcus (No.1), “a charming, chiseled, colossus” who “oozes confidence and leadership without ever having to raise his voice.” Britne Oldford will be Fei (No.3), who “sees the world in a special way.”
Jake Epstein‘s character, Alphonso (No.4), has years of crime-fighting experience that “have left his face and body with countless visual reminders of his battles.” Genesis Rodriguez will portray Sloane (No.5), “a romantic and a dreamer who feels a higher cosmic calling,” while Cazzie David will take on the role of Jayme (No.6), “a loner hidden under a hoodie.”
Those who are caught up with the series already know that The Sparrow Academy’s No.2 is Ben (Min). As for No.7, also known as Christopher, no actor is listed for this role as he is a floating telekinetic cube that gives “incredible advice.”
