A ceramic studio based in Burlington, NC, Haand has announced an online seconds sale, slashing prices on over 5,000 pieces of handcrafted dinnerware and homeware.
Previously a B2B company that worked closely with hospitality clients, Haand has adopted the direct-to-consumer model over the course of last year to meet changing market needs. The brand’s Seconds Sale, a biannual tradition that it has established since 2013, allows customers to acquire beautiful ceramic pieces with minor imperfections (think differences in glazes, or a small thumbprint) at discounted prices. Moving the event from the studio’s showroom to its website, Haand is selling everything from dinner plates and serving bowls, to porcelain mugs and vases at 34-45 percent off.
Haand’s Seconds Sale will be open to the public on January 21 at 10 a.m. EST and will run through February 7. The event will kick off exclusively with plates and bowls, while new product categories will be added to the sale on Tuesdays.
